Here’s how it works.
What is TrukRun?
TrukRun is online ordering software for food trucks. It gives your truck a menu page, a QR code and tools to manage orders. Customers can order in their phone’s browser.
Do customers need to download an app?
No. Customers scan your QR code, open your order link or tap a compatible Got It Tap tag. Your menu opens in their phone’s browser.
Can I turn a menu photo into an online menu?
Yes. Upload a clear photo and TrukRun reads the items and prices. You review the result, correct anything it missed and confirm your extras before publishing.
How do I receive card payments?
Connect your truck’s Stripe account before accepting cards. Card payments are processed through Stripe; payouts follow your account’s settings. You can also accept orders for payment at the window.
What does the Free plan cost?
Free has no monthly subscription. Card orders have a TrukRun fee, capped at $2 per order, plus Stripe processing. Orders paid in cash at the window have no TrukRun fee. The pricing page explains each plan.
Do I need special equipment?
You can use a phone, tablet or computer with a supported web browser and an internet connection. TrukRun does not include a card reader, cash drawer or receipt printer.
Can customers find my truck’s location?
Yes. Publish your service stop and hours on your menu page. You can also choose to list your truck in Find Trucks. You control what you publish; TrukRun does not continuously track your truck.
